Retrouvaille Weekend... When & Where?

The process is offered on scheduled Weekends beginning Friday Nights (and normally closing with Mass late Sunday afternoon). The post-weekend sessions take place over 6 Saturday sessions from 10:00 a.m., until 2:30 p.m. The volunteers in the Hamilton Retrouvaille Community schedule facilities for both the weekend and the Post-weekend phases of the process. This is a couples Ministry and both husband and wife must attend the Weekend together.

Tbe Retrouvaille Weekend is held at the Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The Retrouvaille Program is affiliated with the Catholic Church and therefore is faithful to its teaching that marriage is a covenant that exists between one man and one woman. Any reference to marriage or couple made by Retrouvaille is in this context. The Retrouvaille process is specifically designed for the healing and renewing of the marriage of a man to a woman. We are unable to register couples who are engaged, of the same sex, living in a common-law relationship or persons who are single. If this is your case, we suggest you seek help through Catholic Engaged Encounter, Catholic Family Services or other support groups listed under Resource Links.

What Will It Cost?

A non-refundable registration fee of $350.00 per couple is required to confirm your reservation. This fee covers only a portion of the cost of the room and meals, meeting rooms, supplies and material provided on the weekend and post sessions, mailing costs etc. The balance of $300.00 per couple will be due upon arrival on Friday night. Total cost of the weekend is $650.00 per couple. This cost covers all the expenses of the weekend and the post-weekend sessions.

You will be asked on Sunday afternoon for a further donation to assist couples that cannot afford to pay for the weekend. Your contribution is entirely private and decided upon by you, the couple. Tax receipts will be issued for this entire donation, within the framework of the Canadian Tax Laws. Receipts will be mailed to those who include their name and address in the donation envelope.
